Regulation – Exchanges & High Frequency…

Anyone else find it disturbing that the high frequency nature of that markets now make it all but impossible for regulators to accurately capture, re-create and audit the actual instruments that they are responsible for? I guess I’m not smart enough to understand how this helps the markets.

That said, at least high frequency traders make no bones about what they are after: Pure Profits, nothing more, nothing less. That is the nicest thing I can say about them.
